With the help of research institutions at home and abroad in the framework of the International Meridian Program, a batch of data sub-centers will be established around the globe, which relies on the existing infrastructure of Russia, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Japan etc. The sub-centers will be built independently by relevant research institutions and will participate in the data exchange with other data sub-centers involved with the International Meridian Program.

The IMCP Data Center is based on the data center of the Chinese Meridian Project, which collects, process, stores and manages the data produced by the Meridian Project's observational instruments, provides data services. The IMCP Data Center will be the space weather data exchanges and resource sharing platform for the Chinese Meridian Project and the International Meridian Program.
